Grand Opening Marks New Chapter in Healthcare
A new healthcare facility dedicated to accessible, timely, and patient-centered medical services has officially opened in Cebu as Oras Punto Diagnostics formally welcomed the public during its grand opening celebration on May 11, 2026.
The opening ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting and blessing of the laboratory, symbolizing the beginning of the diagnostic center’s commitment to serving individuals and families in Cebu. The event gathered distinguished guests and stakeholders who expressed support for the facility’s vision of expanding healthcare accessibility in the community.
Among the VIPs in attendance were Guest of Honor Mayor Nestor Archival, who graced the event, Mrs. Mia Cabalquinto-Alo, who delivered the opening message and acknowledgment of guests, and Dr. Gracia Niña Bongabong, who gave the closing remarks.
Located at the heart of Banawa, Cebu City, Oras Punto Diagnostics aims to address long-standing barriers to healthcare by making medical services more convenient, affordable, and accessible for patients who often delay consultations due to cost, distance, or inconvenience.
According to the organization, the inspiration behind Oras Punto Diagnostics stemmed from the need to bridge healthcare gaps, particularly for underserved communities and patients who struggle to access clinics and hospitals. The name “Oras Punto,” which means exact timing, reflects the facility’s mission to provide timely, accurate, and reliable healthcare services when patients need them most.
The center places strong emphasis on diagnostic and laboratory services, recognizing early and accurate diagnosis as the foundation of effective healthcare. By prioritizing preventive care and early detection, the facility hopes to improve treatment outcomes while helping reduce long-term healthcare costs for patients and families.
What sets Oras Punto Diagnostics apart is its commitment to both in-clinic and mobile healthcare services. Beyond its laboratory services, the facility offers Mobile Clinic and Mobile X-ray services, bringing diagnostic care directly to communities, workplaces, and homes. These services particularly benefit senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and residents in remote or underserved areas who may face difficulties visiting healthcare facilities.

Through the Yakap Gamot program, eligible patients may receive up to ₱20,000 worth of free medicine annually, a program expected to significantly reduce the financial burden for patients managing chronic illnesses.
