AirAsia Philippines is helping Cebuanos and festival-goers make the most of Sinulog 2026, offering low-cost flights and a free concert while supporting local communities.

As Sinulog, Dinagyang, and Ati-atihan celebrations light up the Visayas this month, AirAsia encourages travelers to join in the festivities with its AirAsia Fiesta Sale.

One-way base fares start at just P115 for select domestic destinations, available until January 25, 2026, with travel from January 12 to November 30.

AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah said, “We want to help Filipinos celebrate our culture while boosting local tourism. Festivals like Sinulog not only showcase our rich traditions but also strengthen local economies. We are proud to be part of these experiences.”

In Cebu, AirAsia is expanding connectivity with two new international routes and three additional domestic routes, supporting the provincial government’s Balik Cebu Program.

The Department of Tourism Central Visayas projects 400,000 tourist arrivals in the province this January alone.

To bring the Sinulog spirit closer to residents and visitors, AirAsia Philippines will hold the “To the Philippines with Love” Concert for a Cause on January 16 at SM Seaside Cebu Concert Grounds.

The free-admission event will feature OPM acts including Rob Deniel, Earl Agustin, Parokya ni Edgar, and Spongecola, with gates opening at 3:00 PM.

Attendees can pre-register for the concert raffle at https://shorten.ly/airasiafiestacebupre-reg.

AirAsia will also reveal the total donations it has raised for Cebu communities affected by recent typhoons and earthquakes.

Since November 2025, the airline has been allocating P15 from every flight booked to relief efforts in the province.

With affordable fares, expanded routes, and festival-focused activities, AirAsia Philippines is positioning itself as a key partner for Cebuanos and travelers eager to celebrate Sinulog 2026 while exploring other vibrant cultural fiestas in the region. (with PR)
