Maxim Brings Mother’s Day Donation Drive to SOS Children's Village Cebu

In celebration of Mother’s Day, ride-hailing and delivery platform Maxim extended support to families at SOS Children’s Village Cebu through a donation drive held on May 5, 2026.

The initiative provided hygiene and toiletry kits to family houses within the village, helping support the daily needs of mothers and children under the organization’s care. A team of seven Maxim staff members personally delivered the donation boxes and toured the facility together with Florence Camillo, Philanthropy and Partnership Officer of SOS Children’s Village Cebu.

SOS Children’s Village Cebu is a private, non-political, and non-denominational organization that offers long-term, family-based care and education for children who have lost parental care. The village provides a nurturing environment where children live alongside siblings and other children under the guidance of an SOS mother who ensures they receive emotional support, care, and stability while growing up.

During the visit, Maxim representatives were able to meet some of the beneficiaries and learn more about the organization’s mission of providing holistic care to children in need.

One of the beneficiaries from Family House 6, Nanay Butch, expressed gratitude for the assistance received.

“I am very thankful for the blessings provided by Maxim. The essentials are a big help in easing my budget requirements,” she shared.

Camillo also thanked the company for its continued outreach efforts and encouraged them to sustain their support for the village.

“Thank you so much, Maxim. Please continue supporting us in the village,” she said.

Through the donation drive, Maxim highlighted the importance of recognizing mothers and caregivers who play vital roles in shaping and supporting communities, especially those providing love and guidance to children in vulnerable situations.

Maxim first launched its services in the Philippines in 2020, with Cebu as its initial city of operations. The company has since expanded to several cities nationwide, offering transport and delivery services while continuing to engage in community-focused initiatives.
