DMGC ushers Sorotec into Philippine renewable energy market

Shenzhen Soro Electronics Co., Ltd., a global manufacturer of power electronics and renewable energy systems, has entered the Philippine market through a strategic partnership with DMGC Group, launching its local brand Sorotec Philippines.

The partnership marks an expansion of advanced energy and power infrastructure solutions in the country, targeting rising demand for reliable electricity systems and renewable energy integration.

Founded in 2006, Shenzhen Soro Electronics has grown into a high-technology enterprise engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, and distribution of power electronics products.

It operates a 20,000-square-meter production facility and employs more than 350 personnel focused on engineering and product development.

The company holds multiple international certifications, including ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety.

Its products also carry CE and TUV CB certifications, along with other energy-efficiency standards required in global markets.

Sorotec has established partnerships with major enterprises in China, including China Mobile, China Unicom, China Tower, China Telecom, PetroChina, and State Grid.

It has also expanded its footprint across Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Through Sorotec Philippines, DMGC Group will roll out a portfolio of power solutions designed for local industry needs.

These include Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems ranging from 1 KVA to 800 KVA, covering modular, low-frequency, high-frequency, and outdoor configurations for commercial and industrial use.

The local arm will also offer power quality systems such as Active Harmonic Filters and Static Var Generators aimed at improving efficiency and stabilizing electrical systems for businesses and institutions.

A key component of the expansion is the introduction of solar energy storage solutions, including residential solar systems and telecom base station power systems, supporting the country’s shift toward renewable energy.

As electricity demand rises in the Philippines, the company said the partnership is expected to help strengthen energy security and support the transition to cleaner technologies across sectors.

Sorotec Philippines and DMGC Group said they aim to combine global expertise and local market experience to deliver energy solutions for businesses, communities, and industries nationwide.

The partnership is positioned as part of broader efforts to promote innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in the country’s power sector.
