Tay-ong Falls
A pristine and well-hidden waterfall is now open for tourists. Tay-ong Falls is exactly located at Barangay Anajao, Argao Cebu. This hidden gem is worth visiting for the clean and refreshing water and the instagrammable view that it offers.

Cottages are available for an affordale rate. Just to be clear, the Barangay is still working on the restroom a few meters from the spot. For the meantime, should you need to do the Number 2, the Barangay Hall’s toilet can help you out with that.
FOOD 🍽
This is a fairly young Tourist Attraction, so they do not yet have a lot of food options for the visitors. But pretty soon, with your help, more options should be available. So, again, for now, bring your own ready to eat food and drinks for a much more satisfying experience.

Well, considering the fact that this is located at the outskirts of Argao, network availability is still a little bit problematic. The Municipality, however, is already working on the construction of a dedicated line for these inner barangays.
ATMs 💳
None is available around this area. Just make sure you have a little cash on you for those sudden expenses. GCASH will also not be of any help here because there is no Network availability. So, for all your money needs, settle those first at the Poblacion or the center of Argao.
HOW TO GET THERE
🌍 Exact Location: Barangay Anajao, Argao-Cebu
🗺 Via Commute: This is accessible through Barangay Taloot, Argao and is a 25-minute Car or Motorbike ride from the N.Bacalso National Road going towards the access road leading to the Municipality of Ronda-Cebu. If you start-off at Poblacion, Argao, that should be a 40-minute Car/motorbike ride.
🗺 Via Private Vehicle: The place can be navigated on Waze. Whether you are riding a motorbike or your own vehicle, it’s best to navigate via Waze.
PROCEDURES
Upon arrival, guests are to register at the Barangay Hall of Anajao and pay minimal fees. Now, don’t be offended when it comes to fees. These little amounts is a way for those who have a little to share, to help the locals of this barangay. A portion of the fees also help the Barangay and the Municipality in the maintenance and cleanliness of this tourist spot. You can then proceed to the waterfalls area which is just a short motorbike ride away. Then, a short 10-minute walk should take you at the spot.
The Argao Tourism team headed by their active Tourism Chairman, Municipal Councilor Jag Lucero and his ever supportive Tourism Officer Sir Jotam Saragena. Of course, a grand opening wouldn’t be complete without the Father of the Municipality, Mayor Allan Sesaldo.
