This ancestral mansion in Candaguit, Sibonga, Cebu, erected in the 1930s by late spouses Samuel Amores and Leonila Tenebro, has endured all of Southern Cebu’s major storms, including super typhoon Odette.

Despite the strong winds of typhoon Odette this house is still standing. Some people believe the home is guarded by spirits, while others believe it was built on a solid foundation or out of high-quality materials. Other said their grand parent is still living in the house.
