The village is located east of the Poblacion District, on the Tagoloan River’s headwaters, and is one of the city’s largest barangays. Can-ayan is a rough terrain of steep hills with transient flatland and valleys produced by the Tagoloan, Malas, Tigbawan, and Taguican Rivers. The majority of the area is categorized as forestland, making Pine Ridge a side benefit. It became a popular tourist attraction where visitors can ascend a stairway to the realm of heaven.
The grassland and mountains’ foothills are vastly green after long and heavy rains. The shots above are exotic imports; the montane meadows pine trees where natural forest patches exist mainly along stream banks. Their off-grid farm is known for its breathtaking countryside scenery, early morning sea of clouds, and refreshing temperature all year, where you can wake up to a clear mist amid lush woodlands if you spend the night. It’s brilliant for a sightseeing breakfast and a steaming cup of coffee while reminiscing about life, a taste of heaven on earth.
