Colon Vintage Love
Nothing beats Ciel and Ryan’s third-anniversary photoshoot, which has a Parisian vibe!
Stroll through Colon’s modest, busy streets, shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and stores on both sides of the road. It is the main thoroughfare in Cebu’s historic center that is indeed a Cebuano Pride!
Colon has far more historical significance in the Philippines than most people realize. It is thought to be the country’s oldest street. The roadway was built as part of the Villa de San Miguel or St. Michael’s Town, Cebu’s first Spanish town. It was named after Cristóbal Colón, the Spanish version of Christopher Columbus, who is an Italian explorer credited with discovering the “New World.”
The streetscape is a little run-down. It’s a crowded urban boulevard. You can come here to relive the glory days of Cebu’s old city that many Cebuanos associate with personal memories!
Couples in love have sparked wars and controversy throughout history, created masterpieces in writing, music, and art, and grabbed the public’s hearts through the power of their relationships. This is why Ciel and Ryan were holding hands while exchanging vows and promises in front of old buildings along with the lovely commercial districts to reminisce the ties that were created by the both of them. Shots were taken on the spur of the moment when all the stars aligned for them to meet. This beautiful antique elopement in Colon is ideal for lovers looking to experience “l’amour à la française” photography or even traveling back in Cebu’s old times.
Lahi rajud basta Bisaya. Kung ikaw gikawatan ug selpon, ang kasing-kasing ni Ciel gikawat ni Ryan diri sa Colon! Sana all!
Ikaw bai, unsa imong Colon experience and memories?
