The 1st replica of Capelinha de Fatima in Asia and 4th of it’s kind. This replica was opened last April 4, 2022 in Barangay Lambusan in the municipality of San Remigio, 91 kilometers northwest of Cebu City. Other 3 replicas of the chapel were built in the United States, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.
A replica of the chapel where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria in Fátima, Portugal in 1917.
The archdiocese began the construction of the Capelinha de Fatima replica in late 2020 as part of the celebration of the 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines.
The location of this replica is a perfect place for reflection. Overlooking the ocean and a cool nature’s breeze. A-must visit for every Catholic devotees.
