The garden is perfectly situated an hour from the center of Cebu City on the Transcentral Highway. It has about 200 different species of flora and fauna, including many different flowering plants. Buwakan ni Alejandra’s new designs will transport you to the Garden of Eden or the alluring settings of your favorite movies. It will let you experience the feeling of being in a celestial realm.
This tourist destination bears Eleuterio Gentap’s mother-in-law’s name. Gentap works as the landscaper for the flower garden in addition to being a councilman in the barangay. The most widely used and spoken language in the Visayas is Cebuano, where the word “buwak” translates to “flowers.” As a result, “buwakan” now refers to a beautiful landscape. It is obvious from the name that it is a paradise for flower petals. The majority of plantitos and plantitas will consider this to be heaven because the plants are all in good health.
It has gorgeous scenery with lots of vibrant blooms. Alejandra includes a Bali-inspired installation, colorful stairs, and a steel bridge with a beautiful mountain in the distance. This Instagram-worthy locale is the ideal backdrop for a pre-debut or engagement photo shoot. With bright sunshine and clear skies, the vista is still lovely even in the colder or rainier seasons with the fog engulfing the area!
Spend a good hour there just snapping shots of the flowers and the mountain skyline.
