How to Get There For travelers using public transport, start from Cebu South Bus Terminal and ride a bus bound for Bato via Barili. The travel time is around 3–4 hours from Cebu City. Get off at Sangi, Alegria, or inform the conductor that you’re heading to Cancalanog Falls. Most conductors are familiar with the drop-off point.
Once on the highway, look for motorcycle (habal-habal) drivers waiting for passengers. It’s recommended to hire a registered tour guide as your driver to ensure safety and convenience. Always agree on the fare before starting the ride.
Hike to the Falls From Sitio Samoyaw, the jump-off point is marked with a signpost visible from the roadside. From there, you’ll hike around 20–30 minutes to reach the falls. Depending on your drop-off, the walk ranges between 500–800 meters. The closer route from the highway is 800 meters and is just a few steps away from Kanlaob Canyoneering jump point, making it a great stop if you’re planning more adventures nearby.
