Tanciong Larangan

Craving for something hot and tasty? In Tanciong Larangan, you’re in good hands, dear!

If you are an ultimate seafood lover, this dish is a must! Fish is cooked in a hot coconut milk sauce with garlic, shallots, tomatoes, fermented black beans, chilies, and occasionally sour fruits to create the Filipino platter known as linarang, larang, or nilarang. This confounds people, particularly Japanese chefs who prepare the lethal fugu.

A few decades ago, the family-owned food business began as Lounet’s Catering Services. It is a catering company that has provided excellent service for many events, including weddings, birthdays, and other significant occasions.

All was good until the pandemic struck and became a substantial threat to all business owners, including incidents that marginally impacted the catering services. At that point, Tanciong (larangan, lanciao, tuna panga) began to meet the demands of the staff’s family and the owners’ household. The proprietors, who are fans of larang sa pasil and lanciao, came up with the idea to provide these well-known dishes. Since the pandemic prevented them from visiting their favorite places, they decided to serve it via takeout once dine-in reached fifty percent.

Imagine eating your food craving in the comfort of your home? Yes, the demand for Larang, Lanciao, Nilat-ang Baka was amazingly high!

Get a taste of Cebu’s renowned delicacies without having to travel to Pasil. Additionally, they offer their best-selling Fresh lumpia as well as “Lutong Bahay meals.” Having a wide variety of options when dining out in a spotless setting with friendly personnel. Their dear mother “Nenita Abangan,” who will always be the reason the business was founded, gave them the recipes.
