Five Road Crashes Reported in Cebu City in Less Than Five Hours

CEBU CITY — At least five road crash incidents were reported in different parts of Cebu City within less than five hours on Wednesday morning, according to the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO).

The first incident was reported at 3:35 a.m. along E. Sabellano Street near Greenbelt Subdivision, where two motorcycles collided. The crash resulted in physical injuries.

At 5:35 a.m., another road crash occurred along S. Osmeña Boulevard near SUBGUTEL, involving a taxi and a Ford pickup. Authorities also reported physical injuries in the incident.

Ten minutes later, at 5:45 a.m., a motorcycle and a private vehicle figured in a collision along Pope John Paul II Avenue in front of Heno Motors.

At 7:23 a.m., an L300 van and a motorcycle were involved in a road crash at the intersection of N. Bacalso Avenue and V. Rama Avenue.

Just two minutes later, at 7:25 a.m., another collision involving a sedan and a motorcycle was reported along Archbishop Reyes Avenue near Red Planet.

Traffic personnel immediately responded to the affected areas to manage traffic flow and assist those involved in the accidents.

CCTO reminded drivers and motorists to exercise caution, obey traffic laws, avoid overspeeding, and remain alert while traveling to help reduce the number of road crashes.
