Devotion and faith illuminated the early morning today as thousands of devotees filled Osmeña Boulevard for the Penitential Walk with Jesus, a tradition marking the start of the 460th Fiesta Señor celebration.
The procession began at 4:00 AM at Fuente Osmeña, culminating at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, where the “Opening Salvo” Mass was celebrated at 5:00 AM. This heartfelt gathering serves as a spiritual prelude to the Fiesta Señor 2025, running from January 9 to 24, with novena masses and religious activities dedicated to the Santo Niño de Cebu.
