Proud Bisaya Bai (PBB) was founded in 2020 by Ariel Alegado with the vision of celebrating Bisaya culture, humor, and identity. What started as an online platform for relatable, witty content in the Bisaya language quickly blossomed into a dynamic and tight-knit community — one that proudly uplifts regional pride and fosters connection among Bisaya youth.
In just a few years, PBB has grown into more than just a social media brand. Through storytelling, advocacies, and collaborations, it has become a space where Bisaya voices are heard, culture is celebrated, and pride is worn with confidence.
Now on its fifth year, Proud Bisaya Bai continues to thrive — and what better way to celebrate this milestone than with the very people who made it happen? The 5th anniversary celebration was held at Jollibee Leon Kilat last July 25, 2025 with both new and longtime members in attendance. Five incredible years of PBB were honored with heartfelt stories, laughter, and genuine moments that reminded everyone of the culture, community, and connection that unite us as proud Bisaya.
