A Philippine Air Force helicopter has crashed in the mountainous area of Loreto, Agusan del Sur on Tuesday, November 4 according to the Eastern Mindanao Command.
EastMinCom Spokesperson Lt. Col. Salvacion Evangelista confirmed that the aircraft was supporting humanitarian and disaster response operations for Typhoon #TinoPH when the accident occurred.
Authorities have not released additional details about the condition of the crew or the specific cause of the crash. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
