A total of 152 patients received medical and surgical care during a mission held Saturday, November 29, at the Oslob District Hospital.
Of the total, 79 patients availed of dental services, 47 underwent minor procedures including I\&D and cyst excisions, while 26 received major surgeries such as hernia repair and cholecystectomy.
“Behind each number is a face, a family, a story and the shared belief that quality healthcare should reach even those far from big city centers,” said Capitol Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan as she expressed gratitude to partners who made the activity possible.
She acknowledged the Oslob District Hospital team led by Chief of Hospital Dr. Jenn Bigno, along with staff who prepared the facilities, cared for patients, and worked alongside the visiting medical team throughout the mission.
