Mandaue City Hall workers will receive additional compensation this December, with regular employees set to get performance enhancement incentives and job order personnel, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Clean and Green workers expected to obtain salary differentials.
City Administrator Atty. Gonzalo “Sally” Malig-on said the city aims to release these incentives within the month, in time for the holiday season.
Malig-on noted that regular workers already received their year-end bonus on November 15, equivalent to one month’s salary.
He said the remaining benefits, the performance enhancement incentive for regular staff and the salary differentials for job order workers, BHWs, and Clean and Green personnel, still need approval from the City Council.
“Mao nay hopefully madawat for Pasko,” he said.
If the council approves the benefits, job order employees may receive P5,000, while BHWs and Clean and Green workers may get up to P2,800.
Malig-on clarified that the amounts will be proportional or prorated based on the ordinance and will only apply to those employed from September 1 to November 30, 2025.
Regular employees are also set to receive P5,000 in performance enhancement incentives, although Malig-on emphasized that the amount remains subject to evaluation because it is performance-based.
For job order workers, BHWs, and Clean and Green personnel, the benefit will consist solely of a salary differential. (VCL)
