The UV Green Lancers continued their dominance in Cebu collegiate basketball by defeating the UC Webmasters, 85–77, in a thrilling do-or-die Game 3 of the CESAFI Season 25 men’s basketball finals on Saturday, December 13, at the Cebu Coliseum along Sanciangko Street, Cebu City. With this win, UV secured their fourth consecutive championship and 17th CESAFI title overall.
A standout performer throughout the season, Kent Ivo Salarda of the Green Lancers was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. From the opening tip-off, Salarda consistently delivered high-level performances on both ends of the floor, demonstrating composure, skill, and leadership that were instrumental to UV’s championship run. His steady excellence made his MVP recognition well deserved, cementing his status as one of CESAFI Season 25’s most impactful players.
