The streets of the Municipality of Consolacion came alive with vibrant colors, rhythmic performances, and spirited participants during the Sarok Festival 2026 Grand Parade held on February 7, 2026, in celebration of the town’s 106th Founding Anniversary.
Contingents from various barangays, schools, and organizations showcased creative costumes, coordinated choreography, and cultural presentations inspired by the iconic sarok, a symbol of Consolacion’s heritage. Spectators lined the parade route as performers highlighted the municipality’s rich history, artistic talent, and strong sense of community.
This year’s celebration embraced the theme, “Consolacion on the Move: Honoring the Past, Building Tomorrow Today,” emphasizing the town’s commitment to preserving its cultural roots while moving forward toward sustainable growth and development. The parade reflected this vision through modern interpretations of traditional elements, blending heritage with innovation.
The Sarok Festival remains one of Consolacion’s most anticipated annual events, fostering unity, pride, and shared identity among residents.
