A Top 7 Most Wanted Person at the municipal level was successfully arrested in an intelligence-driven operation conducted on March 20, 2026, in City of Naga.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Trompa,” was apprehended inside the Naga City Jail located in Talisay City through the coordinated efforts of operatives from the City of Naga Police Station. The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant of arrest for robbery by force upon things, with recommended bail set at ₱36,000.
According to the Philippine National Police, investigation revealed that in September 2025, the suspect forcibly entered a store situated in an uninhabited area and took a mobile phone along with assorted cigarettes without the owner’s consent. The incident prompted the filing of robbery charges against him.
Further records showed that the suspect had previously been arrested in December 2025 during a buy-bust operation conducted by authorities, indicating prior involvement in illegal activities.
The suspect was duly informed of his constitutional rights in accordance with the Miranda Doctrine and is currently under custody, awaiting turnover to the issuing court.
Police authorities commended the successful operation, emphasizing that it forms part of their intensified campaign against wanted persons, aimed at ensuring public safety and maintaining peace and order in the community.
