DreamWorks Animation has dropped the first trailer for Forgotten Island, a fantasy adventure deeply inspired by Filipino culture.
Voiced by H.E.R. and Liza Soberano, the film showcases local elements like a manananggal-inspired look, a “Mabuhay” jeepney, the Ibong Adarna, and visuals echoing the Philippine sun.
The movie is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on September 23, ahead of its U.S. release on September 25.
