CEBU CITY — A high-value drug suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station 11 of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 7 (PDEA-7) on March 29, 2026, in Sitio Puntod, Barangay Mambaling.
The operation, carried out at around 6:10 p.m., resulted in the confiscation of approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱340,000. Authorities also recovered multiple drug sachets, marked buy-bust money, drug paraphernalia, and a .357 caliber revolver loaded with two live rounds.
Police identified the suspect as a high-value individual and confirmed that he is now under the custody of Police Station 11 while charges are being prepared. The suspect is set to face cases for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as well as Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The Cebu City Police Office reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying anti-illegal drug operations across the city, emphasizing continued coordination with national agencies to ensure safer communities.
