MANDAUE CITY, CEBU — Bellshayce Foods, Inc., a homegrown business founded in 2010, celebrated a major achievement with the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its newest corporate center on April 9, 2026, located at C. Batiller Brgy Umapad, Mandaue City.

The new corporate center stands as a testament to Bellshayce Foods Inc.’s steady growth, strong community ties, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the food industry. From its humble beginnings in the public market, the company has grown into one of the country’s emerging food suppliers, continuously expanding its reach across the Philippines.

The ceremony was led by Mandaue City Mayor Jonkie Ouano, Congresswoman Emmarie Ouano-Dizon, and Cordova Mayor Didoy Suan, together with Bellshayce Foods Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer Cholo Sepra, Chief Operations Officer Chito Dela Calzada, and General Manager Ramon Vinluan. They were joined by company executives, partners, and employees in celebrating this significant achievement.

In his heartfelt speech, CEO Cholo Sepra emphasized that the milestone was not his alone, but a shared achievement of everyone who contributed to the company’s journey. “This is not a celebration of me. This is a celebration of everyone,” he said, expressing gratitude to his family, partners, and employees.

Sepra recounted the early days of the business, recalling how it started from modest operations in the public market. He shared that it took years of persistence, sacrifice, and self-learning to build a strong foundation. “It took me three years of recruiting and organizing the right people who could help execute the vision. It’s really not easy,” he admitted.

Highlighting his leadership philosophy, Sepra underscored the value of continuous learning and humility. He noted that he intentionally placed himself in positions where he could learn from others, saying he would “listen, evaluate, and observe” to grow as a leader.

More importantly, he stressed that the company’s greatest investment is not infrastructure, but its people. “This building is just a shelter for my investment. The real investment is in people—the ones who execute the ideas and bring the vision to life,” Sepra said.

Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic and economic uncertainties, the CEO shared how persistence turned obstacles into opportunities. He revealed that while many paused during difficult times, he continued pushing forward driven by responsibility to those relying on the business.

“This is just the beginning,” Sepra added, acknowledging that while the company has achieved significant milestones, there is still much more to accomplish. He also candidly spoke about the weight of leadership, admitting that behind strength are moments of fear and uncertainty but emphasized his commitment to remain steadfast for his team.

Meanwhile, Congresswoman Emmarie Ouano-Dizon lauded the company’s success, highlighting the pride it brings to Mandaue. “Garbo kaayo namo nga usa ka Oponanon ang nakaabot ani nga kalampusan. When we uplift one another, we build a stronger and more vibrant Mandaue,” she said.

Beyond business growth, Bellshayce Foods Inc. continues to strengthen its role in community development. In an interview, Marketing Manager Vince Mimay emphasized that the company’s commitment to social responsibility is rooted in its origins.

“We always go back to where we came from,” Mimay shared, noting that the company actively gives back not only through partnerships with government agencies, such as sponsoring Sinulog and local outreach programs, but also by supporting grassroots communities. “We started from the Carbon community, and now here we are. It’s important for us to give back, from the barangay level to the entire country.”

When asked how Bellshayce remains competitive in Cebu’s dynamic food industry, Mimay acknowledged the challenge of competing with established brands but highlighted what sets the company apart. “We are a homegrown brand, and we consistently introduce Cebu’s regional flavors. That identity makes us different,” he explained, adding that they view bigger companies not as rivals but as inspirations.

With its new corporate center, Bellshayce Foods Inc. is poised to further strengthen its operations, expand its market reach, and continue creating opportunities for employment and innovation.

As Sepra concluded, the milestone is not the destination, but a stepping stone toward greater achievements: “Let this be just the beginning of even greater accomplishments as we continue to grow together in the years to come.”
