An accident along Archbishop Reyes Avenue flyover in Cebu City prompted the temporary closure of the flyover as emergency responders arrived at the scene on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
According to initial reports, the victims, both students of the University of San Carlos, were struck by an ambulance transporting a patient.
They were identified as Braille Nichole Q. Kwek and Juan Antonio S. Ladioray. Kwek was declared dead at the scene, while Ladioray was rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center.
Authorities are continuing their investigation.
