PINAMUNGAJAN, Cebu — April 22, 2026 — A food avenue in Pinamungajan has temporarily suspended operations today, April 22, and tomorrow, April 23, as management cooperates with authorities in the ongoing investigation into the reported seafood poisoning incident.
According to management, the temporary closure is part of their full cooperation with the investigation and their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of customers.
In an official statement, management also extended its deepest sympathy to the affected family during this difficult time.
The establishment is expected to resume operations on Friday, April 24, with assurances of improved food safety measures, better care, and quality service upon reopening.
“Magkita-kita ta puhon, mas lami ug mas safe na among pagkaon para ninyo,” the statement read, as management thanked customers for their understanding and continued support.
