A former gymnast is now undergoing rehabilitation to improve his mental health and overall well-being.
Ricarjay Gabatbat from Englis V. Rama Street, Guadalupe was once a skilled gymnast known for his discipline and talent in Cebu City. However, over time, his life took a difficult turn, and he eventually wandered the streets, living without a stable home.
He recently went viral after a vlogger asked him for directions in English and was surprised when Ricarjay responded fluently, impressing netizens and shedding light on his background.
Despite these challenges, his strength and resilience remain evident. He has now been admitted for recovery and rehabilitation at Safehaven Recovery Village, where he is receiving support to restore his mental and physical health and begin anew.
In the coming months, his progress will be closely followed as he embarks on a journey toward healing, renewed hope, and a better future.
