Don Lemon Philippines extended a simple yet heartfelt gesture by distributing drinks to families affected by the recent fire incident and to residents helping in the cleanup operations under the intense heat in Upper Kabanayan, Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City.
The fire broke out at around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 12, 2026, leaving several families affected and prompting immediate community response and clearing operations in the area.
According to one of the victims, an estimated 13 houses were hit by the fire. Barangay officials immediately provided temporary tent shelters and food assistance to affected residents currently staying at the Bulacao Gym while recovery efforts continue.
Despite the difficult situation and extreme weather conditions, residents and volunteers continued helping one another throughout the cleanup activities. The gesture from Don Lemon Philippines brought refreshment and encouragement to those tirelessly working on the ground.
