Mister Gay Sugbo 2026 crowned its first-ever feminine king last night, June 26, at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
Grand Winner AJ Belda bested nineteen candidates hailing from Cebu Province and Cebu City for the title of this year’s Mister Gay Sugbo. He was then followed by First Runner-up Arniel Tirol and Second Runner-up Kenny Candido.
The Charity Crown was given to Kint Villarta, and the Advocacy Crown was awarded to Vandolph Paras.
Several special and minor awards were also presented in yesterday night’s coronation.
Mister Gay Sugbo has been running for four years. President of the organization, Dr. Christian Emmanuel Enriquez, said that Mister Gay Sugbo is not just about pageant but also about advocacy.“Your dreams are valid, and you have space in the community. And most importantly, everybody should tell their story because the truth of your story is what this universe deserves, “ Enriquez said.
The pageant aims to provide open spaces for every queer individual. Bringing different advocacies to the stage, Mister Gay Sugbo aims to shed light on different stigmas and spread love above all.
