Halad sa Pagtuo 2026: A celebration of devotion, culture

In celebration of the 457th founding anniversary of Cebu province, the Cebu Provincial Government is expected to highlight faith, culture and devotion with Halad sa Pagtuo.

The festival is set to congregate devotees and showcase rich religious traditions, colorful festivals, and deep devotion of Cebuanos through a Presentation of Festivals and the participation of 50 Carrozas (float) from across the province of Cebu.

Cebu’s towns and cities, from the northernmost communities to the southern parts of the province, will gather in a grand celebration honoring faith, culture, history, and tradition. 

Through the participating carrozas, the patron saints and sacred images of various communities will be brought together, symbolizing the deep devotion and shared faith that unite Cebuanos.
