Oh! Caraga gives Cebu Pacific’s 30th anniversary song a Bisaya voice

OPM band Oh! Caraga brings a distinctly Bisaya sound to Cebu Pacific’s 30th anniversary celebration, performing a regional-language version of the airline’s original soundtrack, “Where Dreams Fly,” in a music video honoring the airline’s Cebuano roots.

The release gives new life to the anniversary song while highlighting Cebu’s culture, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, which the airline says continue to inspire generations of Filipinos.

Cebu Pacific Marketing Director Michelle De Guzman said Oh! Caraga’s performance gives the song a new energy while helping more travelers connect with its message in a language close to home.

“Oh! Caraga brings an anthemic feel to ‘Where Dreams Fly’, giving our 30th anniversary OST a new energy that transcends language.

The dreams of our passengers, both in the Philippines and beyond, have always been at the heart of Cebu Pacific’s story.

Through this Bisaya version, we hope more travelers connect with the song in a language that feels close to home,” De Guzman said.

The music video pays tribute to Cebu, where the airline began operations, through familiar cultural symbols featured on its special 30th anniversary Airbus A321neo, known as the Dreamer Plane.

These include *puso* or hanging rice, mangoes, guitars and stars, alongside the Dreamer Girl. Cebu-based artist Happy Garaje, who designed the aircraft’s anniversary livery, also appears in the video.

Another visual reference connects the airline’s history to its founder, John Gokongwei Jr.

A boy riding a bicycle represents Gokongwei’s early aspirations as he traveled through local neighborhoods in Cebu selling goods while dreaming of a better future.

Gokongwei brought that ambition to aviation in March 1996, when Cebu Pacific launched its maiden Manila-Cebu flight to make air travel more accessible to Filipinos.

The airline has since carried more than 250 million passengers, connecting families and opening access to opportunities across destinations. Gokongwei would have turned 100 this year.

Cebu remains central to the airline’s domestic network.

Through its Cebu hub, Cebu Pacific serves 24 domestic routes and nine international routes, linking the city with destinations across the Philippines and abroad.

The Bisaya rendition of “Where Dreams Fly,” performed by Oh! Caraga, is available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Facebook and TikTok.
