Cebu Reliable and Excellent Seafarers Training Center is regarded as one of the most prominent and preferred maritime training and evaluation institutions for seafarers, keeping up with national and international standards. As the demand for seafarers started growing, CREST SHS was established in 2018 for students who aspire to be maritime professionals. In just three years, it has already exceeded expectations by providing opportunities not only for its Maritime students but also for its ABM and HUMSS students through various development programs such as Student Recollection, Mental Health Awareness Activities, International Youth Conference, and Extra & Co-curricular Activities.
Students at CREST SHS are given functional and technical skills as well as hands-on experience to ensure that they receive the most effective and efficient education possible.
CREST offer facilities that can help you refine your skills in terms of training. They have their own simulators for deploying a completely new platform, bringing useful navigational and engine simulation algorithms that will give you a realistic experience navigating a ship and managing its engine, along with a program that will work on certified operating systems and provide you a broader and more comprehensive view of seafarer training.

SHS MARITIME STRAND
It is CREST’s flagship course program developed for Senior High School students as they are known for the excellent Training and Assessment Center for seafarers that are accredited by Marina. This strand focuses on the fundamental, common, and core abilities that a Senior High School (SHS) student should possess and is intended to improve knowledge, skills, a good attitude, and work values in accordance with workplace norms. It teaches the proficiency, abilities, and attitudes necessary for operating distressed emergency equipment. It also emphasizes the ability to drive the ship and follow helm commands. The aim of this strand is to develop the following skills in a watch routine appropriate to a rating’s duties as part of an engine-room watch and understanding in topics related to its duties. This thorough management of education and training in the maritime industry will provide an enhancement for growth, expansion, and constructive change to meet the demands. It equips individuals with professional knowledge and apprehension. Senior High School maritime students are provided with two options: they can proceed on board after senior high school or proceed to Maritime College.
ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT STRAND (ABM)
This strand gives students the abilities and expertise they’ll need in entering the corporate world. This program is for students interested in becoming business leaders and entrepreneurs after high school or in the near future. Students in the ABM program are intended to be immersed in management and financial accounting principles that will prepare them for their practical experience in the field through Work Immersion in collaboration with various sectors and major industries.
