The Hiyas nang Pilipinas pageant stands as a prestigious and vibrant celebration of Filipino beauty, talent, and cultural heritage. This annual event draws contestants from across the archipelago, each vying for the coveted title and the opportunity to represent the Philippines on the global stage. Unlike other beauty pageants, Hiyas nang Pilipinas places a significant emphasis on cultural advocacy, ensuring that each participant not only showcases their physical attributes but also their deep understanding and appreciation of Filipino traditions and values. Through various segments, including the talent show, national costume presentation, and advocacy speeches, the pageant illuminates the rich diversity and enduring spirit of the Philippines.

This year’s pageant, held at the grand Manila Convention Center, saw a dazzling array of contestants who brought their best to the stage. Each participant was meticulously selected through regional competitions, ensuring that they exemplify the ideals of grace, intelligence, and cultural pride. The event was a feast for the senses, with stunning performances, elaborate costumes, and heartfelt presentations that captivated both the judges and the audience. Notably, the national costume segment was a highlight, with each contestant donning intricately designed outfits that represented their respective provinces, paying homage to the Philippines’ rich tapestry of cultures.

The crown of Hiyas nang Pilipinas carries with it a responsibility beyond the glamour. The titleholder is expected to engage in various social and cultural initiatives throughout her reign. This includes promoting local tourism, participating in charity events, and working with government and non-governmental organizations to advocate for causes such as education, health, and environmental conservation.

The Hiyas nang Pilipinas organization, under the guidance of Chairman Mike Sordilla and key national officers Mr. Bryan Navales Tarosa, Mr. Marcky Geronimo, Roy Erwin Tizon, and Mr. MJ Manayon, has meticulously planned and executed this year’s event. The 2023 Queens have been announced, showcasing a new era of Filipino beauty and talent. Fatima Kate Bisan has been crowned Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023, Juvyel Anne Saluta as Miss Continental World Philippines 2023, and Jackie Adarayan Fleming as Miss Omninational Philippines 2023. Additionally, Tarah Limjap and Vanessa F. Baraquio earned First and Second Runner-Up titles respectively.
