You Are Not Alone!
This has been my motto in life, and it is what reminded me to push myself to become where I am today. I have been blogging for a long time, but during the pandemic, I became more immersed in impacting people’s lives through my writing. I specifically focused on letting Cebuanos know about newly opened places in the city and must-awaited events, giving them the quality time they need with their loved ones.
My friend and I were so into cafe hopping, and when we started sharing our experiences, people wanted to know more. As we made more and more posts, more and more opportunities came in. Most importantly, in essence, there is always a plan being made with people whenever we post, seeing a lot of comments from their friends and family. This is when I knew that in every post we make, we let everyone know that they are not alone.
From cafes, restaurants, concerts, fashion shows, or even relatable things we do as Cebuanos, we highlight them because that is what we envisioned for our audience—to be a proud Bisaya.
A platform like Best Cebu Blogs Awards 2023 gives our passionate writers the recognition they deserve. More so, it inspires each one of us that everyone has a story to tell, and it speaks to how passionate they are about their work.
I am honored to be part of the finalists because being a writer is no easy task. However, I am always reminded of how my words can help others. I would like to personally thank the people behind this award-giving body for uplifting us bloggers with the work we do.
