Cebu Pacific has cancelled several Manila-Dubai flights as it monitors the ongoing security situation in parts of the Middle East, the airline announced as of 9 p.m. on February 28, 2026.
Flight 5J 14, which departed for Dubai on February 28, is returning to Manila and is expected to arrive at 10:45 p.m.
Its return service, Flight 5J 15, has been cancelled.
The airline also cancelled Flights 5J 14 and 5J 15 scheduled for March 1, covering the Manila-Dubai-Manila route.
Cebu Pacific said the move was made to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and crew as it continues to monitor developments in the region.
Affected passengers have been notified via email and were provided options through the airline’s Manage Booking portal.
These include free rebooking within 30 days from the original flight date without fare difference, conversion of the ticket value into a Travel Fund for future use, or a full refund.
The carrier is likewise offering flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion, to passengers who wish to postpone flights to and from Dubai on March 2 and Riyadh on March 1 and 2.
Passengers may avail themselves of these options up to two hours before their scheduled departure.
Cebu Pacific said it will continue reviewing its Middle East flight operations in the coming days, noting that further adjustments may occur as the situation develops.
The airline advised passengers to regularly check flight status updates and ensure their contact details are updated to receive timely notifications.
