Kalanggaman Island, Derived from the word “langgam,” which translates to “bird” in the Cebuano dialect, Kalanggaman Island got its name because of its peculiar shape. When viewed from above, the island looks much like a bird in flight. Apart from its unique shape, the island has been slowly turning into a beach destination thanks to its turquoise blue waters and long sandbars from both sides of the island.
