Cebuano fans will hear a familiar language woven into the music when the OPM collective Sessionistas brings its concert “Love, Sessionistas” to Cebu next month.
During a press conference on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, artists Ice Seguerra, Juris Fernandez, Princess Velasco, and Nyoy Volante shared details of the upcoming Cebu show set for April.
Fernandez said the group is both excited and nervous to perform for a Cebuano audience, noting the region’s reputation for its deep appreciation of music.
Velasco said the group is preparing a Cebuano twist for one of the concert’s most anticipated portions.
She said the artists plan to perform Cebuano songs during their signature letter-reading segment, a fan-favorite part of the show where heartfelt messages are paired with live performances.
The change is meant to connect more closely with Cebuano audiences when the show reaches the island.
The Cebu concert of “Love, Sessionistas” will be held on April 18 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino following three sold-out shows in Manila.
The lineup will also include Kean Cipriano, Duncan Ramos, and Sitti.
Known for their acoustic collaborations and timeless OPM hits, the Sessionistas concerts bring together artists whose songs helped shape the sound of a generation.
Ticket prices range from P1,000 for balcony seats, P1,500 for general admission, P2,500 for bronze, P3,500 for silver, P4,500 for gold, and P5,000 for VIP.
SVIP tickets priced at P7,000 include a meet-and-greet with the artists.
